Job Description

Sales and Customer Support Specialist

Location: Remote (South Africa preferred)
Work Hours: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM EST
Compensation: $1500/month base $20 per qualified appointment (Total potential: $1500 $2000/month)

We are a US based fast-growing national distributor of industrial valves and instrumentation dedicated to solving process control challenges through expert support and responsive service. With significant year-over-year growth and a strong U.S. footprint we are expanding our remote team to help scale outbound outreach and customer support across key industrial markets.

Position Overview

As a Sales and Customer Support Specialist you will play a hybrid role focused on outbound sales development and responsive customer service. You ll be responsible for making 60 80 outbound calls per day to industrial B2B prospects qualifying leads and setting appointments. Supporting inbound inquiries will also be a key part of your role and success as your efforts will directly support long-term customer acquisition and retention.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong B2B industrial sales background particularly in valves and who are confident articulate and results-driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 60 80 outbound cold calls per day to industrial prospects across the U.S.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers to qualify leads and set appointments
  • Use CRM tools ( Pipedrive) to manage contacts log activity and track lead progress
  • Respond to inbound customer service inquiries via phone and email resolving issues or routing as needed
  • Follow up on customer interactions to ensure satisfaction and uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to ensure seamless handoff and resolution
  • Achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals for outbound activity and customer service excellence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience ideally in the U.S. market
  • 3 years of valve sales experience is required
  • Proven track record in outbound calling lead qualification and appointment setting
  • Professional experience in handling customer service inquiries and technical conversations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Pipedrive)
  • Strong English communication skills with a neutral accent
  • Highly organized reliable and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical experience in industrial or process control environments
  • Technical understanding of valve specifications and their applications in industrial systems
