Job Description
Location: Springs

Purpose of the Role
To oversee and maintain a comprehensive quality management system ensure compliance with industry standards (including ISO3834) and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and engineering operations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop implement and maintain a Quality Management System aligned with ISO3834 and relevant standards.

Ensure adherence to quality policies procedures and regulatory requirements.

Conduct welding inspections and verify compliance with standards and customer specifications.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols throughout production processes.

Perform regular audits to identify gaps and initiate improvements.
-
Maintain thorough documentation of inspections test results and non-conformances.

Generate detailed quality reports for management.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials; conduct supplier audits.

Train staff on quality standards procedures and best practices.

Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Monitor and act on customer feedback to resolve quality concerns promptly.

Liaise with customers to understand and meet their quality expectations.
Requirements
-
Qualification in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing/engineering environment.

Strong knowledge of welding processes and inspections.
-
Familiarity with ISO3834 and other applicable quality standards.
