RPOs client is actively seeking a skilled Accountant to join our client in Kenilworth Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to manage and oversee financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance. If you have a strong background in accounting and a passion for financial management we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Supervising a monthly accounting department including preparation and review of monthly management accounts timely submission of statutory returns and assisting clients with accounting and software support.
Preparing and reviewing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs.
Dealing with clients and correspondence.
Managing and training junior staff and SAIPA trainees.
Requirements:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles or similar experience
Company and individual tax knowledge essential
Previous experience in a similar environment
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Very high attention to detail
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Own transport (including valid SA drivers license)
Software requirements:
Pastel Partner and Sage One experience
Experience with Xero advantageous
Caseware knowledge
Highly computer literate in Outlook Word and Excel
