Job Description
Introduction
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join our reputable clients team.
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting degree or equivalent (compulsory) with at least 7 to 10 years post-article experience (SAICA or SAIPA)
- Experience in a small to medium-sized accounting firm
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax legislation and its application
- Familiarity with preparing and submitting annual tax returns and VAT returns
- Ability to engage in tax planning to support efficient structuring and compliance
- Proven experience in managing people and reviewing technical work and ensuring high standards of accuracy and quality
- Track record of successfully managing client relationships engagements planning and budgeting
- Ability to identify and implement processes and policies to improve team efficiency
