Job Description
Introduction
Our client seeks to appoint an experienced IT Project Lead to join their dynamic team and drive successful systems implementation projects within wholesale operations. Experience in supporting Sage Evolution and Pastel Partner is essential as is Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification and own transport.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end systems implementation projects ensuring successful delivery within specified timeframes
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify process bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions for streamlining operations
- Manage project lifecycles using sound project management methodologies prioritizing tasks effectively to meet management-defined deadlines
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders ensuring clear communication throughout all project phases
- Document implemented systems and processes comprehensively for internal knowledge management and future reference
- Provide ongoing support and optimization recommendations for existing systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within wholesale operations
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experiencein systems implementation with a track record of successful project delivery
- Demonstrated expertiseworking within Pastel Partner and SAGE Evolution ERP environments
- Wholesale industry experiencewith deep understanding of industry-specific processes and challenges
- Exceptional communication skillswith the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Strong analytical abilitiesto identify process inefficiencies and develop practical solutions
- Meticulous documentation skillsfor creating comprehensive system and process documentation
- Detail-oriented approachwith a focus on accuracy and quality delivery
- Proven project management capabilitieswith experience in task prioritization and timeline management
