Job Description

Introduction

POSITION: Vehicle Sales Executive

REPORTS TO: Head of Truck Sales

INDUSTRY: Automotive Industry

SALARIES: Market related

AREA: Cape Town (Brackenfell) Western Cape

SEND: nap

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategy
  • Analysis of customer buying behaviour market analysis and trends
  • Conduct market intelligence and regularly check competitiveness of Company products
  • Plan volume targets/market share for the region and assign per Sales Executive /region
  • Define discount grids for Sales Executives
  • Plan and allocate assigned budget as well as plan results i.e. DB 2 volume etc.
  • Identify strategic alliances and partners in region (i.e. body builders)
  • Actively track sales funnel and conversion rates for opportunity improvements
  • Monitor margin development
  • Steer pricing and approve deals within the budget
  • Analyse CXI results and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Know the impact of the KPIs and how to improve them
  • Develop and implement tactical measures
  • Promote and supervise the implementation of sales campaigns
  • Manage regional financial budgets and spend in line with planned activities
  • Develop ways to improve productivity levels and efficiency within team
  • Represent company at high level for local events and before public authorities
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and complaint resolution are achieved
  • Enforce integrated pricing to enhance market reach and enable strategic cross-selling
  • Align and communicate with business units and headquarter such as after sales
  • Manage the demand requirement through channelling of market requirements
  • Supervise and control CRM and promote its usage within the team
  • Ensure decision making process through CRM tool
  • Prepare together with central function attack list for specific customer segments
  • Support upper-level strategy through advisory feedbacks
  • Lead the team and accomplish retail sales force results by managing their performance
