Job Description
SAP expert ready to lead Production Asset Management transformation
Join our clients PAM team configuring cutting-edge SAP S/4HANA solutions SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration and plant maintenance systems. Drive enterprise-wide SAP implementations while collaborating with global teams on mission-critical automotive manufacturing systems.
Senior SAP role in Production Asset Management (PAM)
SAP S/4HANA and Business Network Asset Collaboration
Plant maintenance and logistics module expertise
Global team collaboration on enterprise solutions
CONTRACT: Until December 2028
EXPERIENCE: 8 Years SAP Functional Consulting
COMMENCEMENT: 01 September 2025
LOCATION: Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation
Qualifications/Experience Required- Relevant IT Degree / Diploma / equivalent work Experience
- 8 years experience in as an SAP Functional Consultant
Specific Technical/Functional skills:
- SAP S/4 configuration and customization
- Expertise in SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration or similar SAP SaaS cloud solutions
- In-depth understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance or related logistic modules
- Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP interface technologies
- Foundational understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Optional:
- SAP ABAP development
- Experience in configuring Syclo Mobile Add-on solutions
- Experience in any other SAP module/product
- Jira/Confluence
- Fit-for-business-purpose mindset i.e. the solutions provided must meet the business goals
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented work behaviour in a distributed team
- Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Willingness to interact with international clients addressing potential language barriers professionally
- Excellent time management ensuring high-quality timely deliverables
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently in agile environments
- Proactive in task ownership self-motivated and committed to constant learning
- Adaptable taking on diverse team roles and responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on identifying and implementing improvements
- Configuring interfaces between SAP Business Network Asset Collaboration and multiple SAP ERP systems (R/3 and S/4)
- Designing solutions that seamlessly integrate within the enterprise environment
- Providing recommendations on best practices for end-to-end solution implementation
- Ensuring adherence to all technical and business requirements
- Managing the configuration and operation of applications and features in collaboration with a global team
- Operating within an AGILE framework to deliver iterative and efficient results
- Conducting rigorous testing and ensuring compliance with standards
