Job Description
A boutique financial services firm based in Southern Suburbs is looking for a Financial Manager with depth someone CIMA-qualified and experienced (5 years in an FM type role) who brings a thoughtful grounded approach to leadership.

- Develop and enhance financial models that guide investment decisions and broader strategic planning
- Prepare and communicate budgets forecasts and variance analyses that provide actionable insight
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting for stakeholders and investors
- Manage treasury operations maintaining adequate cash flow to support business needs and transactions
- Collaborate with executives on deal planning funding approaches and credit evaluations
- Lead and support a small finance team providing mentorship and guidance
- Monitor financial risk areas including loan maturities security releases and settlement processes

Requirements
- The ideal candidate is CIMA qualified (ACMA CGMA) and brings 5 years of relevant experience in a FM type role within the financial services sector.
- They are highly skilled in using advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
- They have a solid foundation in financial modelling performance analysis and forecasting cash flow.
- Their track record includes leading budgeting cycles and producing accurate insightful management reports.
- They are confident in leading small teams and engaging directly with senior decision-makers.
- They re known for their integrity adaptability and a hands-on solutions-driven mindset.
