Job Description
Red Ember Recruitment is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Isando Kempton Park.
- Inventory & Stock Management
Supervise goods-in and goods-out operations to maintain accuracy and minimize damage.
Ensure timely and accurate stock capturing on the warehouse database.
Conduct and supervise regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and location accuracy preventing shortages or overstock.
- Asset and Logistics Coordination
Plan and manage the movement distribution and storage of goods and warehouse assets.
Control incoming and outgoing stock to meet customer delivery timelines.
Track and record transport efficiency delivery performance and stock condition.
- Team Leadership
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse assistants technicians and an administrator.
Schedule and assign daily tasks ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.
Provide training and guidance on warehouse procedures and safety.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
Implement quality control processes for incoming and outgoing inventory.
Ensure adherence to company policies operational standards and safety regulations.
- Reporting and Communication
Maintain accurate documentation of inventory levels and stock movements.
Generate reports on stock status performance metrics and logistics operations.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve stock and asset-related issues.
- Process Improvement
Identify and implement efficiency improvements in warehouse operations.
Support continuous improvement by introducing best practices.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Warehouse Logistics or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar supervisory warehouse role
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills

Education
