Job Description

What you ll be doing:
- Design and deliver user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points.
- Create wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Maintain and contribute to the design system and component library.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on design goals.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and tools.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into design solutions.
- Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and team members.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Design Human-Computer Interaction or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Proficiency in Figma for designing user interfaces and prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Experience in creating wireframes storyboards and user flows.
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing.
- Expertise in designing for both web and mobile platforms.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- Business Analyst skills including requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with other design tools like Adobe XD Sketch or InVision.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript).
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Understanding of data visualization and dashboard design.
- Experience in conducting workshops and design sprints.
- Knowledge of branding and graphic design principles.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira Confluence.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools to measure user experience.
