Description
Responsibilities:
Network Management: Design implement and maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure (LAN WAN SD-WAN VPN Wi-Fi).
Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership mentorship and technical guidance to network engineers. Prepare documentation allocate tasks and oversee the resolution of incidents.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain network security controls including firewall rules and segmentation. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities support audits and monitor network security.
Performance and Reporting: Track and report on key metrics like network performance uptime and incident trends. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Maintain accurate documentation of network topology and assets.
Governance: Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as ISO 27001 GDPR and PCI-DSS.
A relevant diploma and IT networking and security certifications.
Required: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent.
Preferred: CCNP Fortinet NSE AWS/Azure Networking certifications and ITIL Foundation.
58 years of hands-on networking experience including 12 years in a team lead or senior role.
Strong knowledge of enterprise networking platforms like Cisco Juniper and Fortinet.
Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP OSPF) switching VLANs and QoS.
Experience with firewall configuration cloud networking (AWS Azure GCP) SD-WAN VPN and wireless technologies.
Willingness to work extended hours and travel.
