About the Role:
Sunbytes is looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to work with our client a global leader in digital platform engineering and software development services. This role is based at the client s office in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Design and manage product recommendation systems with an emphasis on MLOps practices such as model deployment and performance monitoring utilizing PySpark for algorithm optimization.
Build and sustain data pipelines and ETL workflows to ensure efficient data flow into the recommendation engines.
Work closely with data scientists and engineers to create innovative machine learning solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
Assess and interpret the performance of recommendation models pinpointing areas for refinement and enhancement.
Keep current with emerging machine learning trends and technologies applying relevant advancements to improve system effectiveness.
Job Requirement:
Over 4 years of experience in machine learning engineering. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field.
Proficient in Python and Pandas.
Familiar with MLOps tools such as Dagster and MLflow.
Skilled in model deployment monitoring and performance optimization.
Experience with Azure services like Blob Storage and Databricks.
Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone Faiss or Pgvector.
Capable of API development and deployment.
Familiar with Docker Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to Have:
Experience in PySpark.
Experience in building recommendation systems for e-commerce.
Soft skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Comfortable working in a collaborative Agile environment.
Proficient in English (B2 level or above).
