Sales Leadership & Strategy:
Develop implement and manage comprehensive sales strategies to achieve budgeted revenue across all segments (leisure MICE corporate group FIT OTA etc.).
Lead motivate and guide the Sales Events and Reservations teams to exceed room nights revenue and market share targets.
Identify new business opportunities and strategically penetrate emerging markets (local regional and international).
Monitor market trends and competitor activities adjusting strategy as needed.
Set annual sales targets segment strategies account plans and pricing policies in alignment with corporate and brand guidelines.
Marketing & Brand Management:
Oversee the resorts marketing and communications including advertising public relations digital presence and promotions.
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness resort positioning and customer engagement.
Supervise the creation of compelling content across all platforms including social media website and print media.
Collaborate with corporate marketing and PR teams to ensure brand consistency and compliance.
Revenue & Distribution Management:
Collaborate with the Revenue and Distribution team to optimize pricing strategies and distribution channels.
Oversee demand forecasting budgeting and yield management to ensure optimal RevPAR and GOP performance.
Monitor booking pace pick-up trends and production reports to proactively manage business flow.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts travel partners tour operators corporate clients and event planners.
Represent the resort at trade shows roadshows client events and other industry functions.
Act as brand ambassador both internally and externally to reinforce the resorts unique selling propositions.
Team Development:
Recruit train coach and retain top-performing team members.
Foster a high-performance culture encouraging collaboration innovation and accountability.
Conduct regular team meetings reviews and performance appraisals.
Budgeting & Reporting:
Prepare and manage the departments budget forecast and marketing spend.
Provide regular sales and marketing performance reports to the General Manager and corporate leadership.
Ensure ROI analysis is conducted for all major sales and marketing activities.
Qualifications :
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Hospitality Management or related field (Masters preferred).
Minimum of 710 years of progressive leadership experience in sales & marketing within the luxury hospitality industry ideally at a beach or resort property.
Proven success in leading multi-functional teams with a strong revenue-generating track record.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of leisure MICE OTA and luxury travel markets.
Excellent interpersonal negotiation and presentation skills.
Proficient in CRM systems sales reporting tools and revenue management software.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Creative and commercially driven with a strong sense of brand stewardship.
