Job Description
CONTRACT ROLE
Description: We are seeking a seasoned Technical Programme Manager with extensive experience in managing data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical environments particularly in data management transformation and migration. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively coordinate crossfunctional teams manage project timelines and budgets and ensure successful delivery of complex data migration initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead endtoend planning execution and delivery of data migration projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders including data owners IT teams and business units.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation timelines milestones and dependencies.
- Coordinate and manage crossfunctional teams to execute data migration activities including data cleansing mapping transformation and validation.
- Identify and mitigate risks issues and dependencies that may impact project delivery or quality.
- Monitor project progress track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices standards and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement data migration strategies tools and solutions.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams external vendors and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership guidance and support to project team members fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or programme management with a focus on data migration projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing largescale data migration initiatives in technical environments.
- Strong understanding of data management principles practices and technologies including ETL processes data warehousing and data governance.
- Experience with data migration tools and platforms such as Informatica Talend or SAP Data Services.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall) and tools (e.g. JIRA MS Project).
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive resultsoriented approach to project delivery.
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) is a plus.
