Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1 2 years experience in a similar environment
- Bachelors Degrees and Advanced Diplomas NQF Level 07 in Finance Economics Data Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Collect process and analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights that drive business performance
- Use advanced statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to support business decisions
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Develop visualizations using tools like Tableau Power BI or similar to effectively communicate complex data insights
- Conduct detailed analysis to identify key process and potential areas for
streamlining/automation - Work closely with finance underwriting claims and other departments to gather data and understand business needs
- Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs
- Support strategic initiatives by providing datadriven insights and recommendations
- Participate in crossfunctional projects to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance overall business performance
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics cost management and the insurance industry
- Experiment with new methodologies and tools to enhance analytical capabilities and business impact
