Key purpose:
Were looking to hire a dynamic ambitious and resultsorientated Junior Social Media Community Coordinator to be based in our digital command centre in Cape Town.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to comments and queries on various social media accounts
- Curate and post content to various social media accounts
- Remove spam content from comments and block spammers from account
- Notify the leadership team via set escalation processes when required.
- Explore new channels and look into new ways of reaching specific target audiences and growing market share.
- Work closely with our inhouse team as well as outsourced service providers and partners.
- Complete assigned tasks within the required deadlines
- Alternate between three shifts: Morning Afternoon and Late Night
- Follow strict processes and procedures at all times
Qualifications and experience:
- A Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Swahili and Portuguese will be beneficial
- The ability to get to the Office on time for your shift
- An active user of Social media apps like Facebook Instagram and Linkedin
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
- Be able to work in a team but be a selfstarter
