Job Description
Key purpose:
Data Migration Consultant ROA FTD (Forecast to Deploy) Migrations Databases SQL Server Integration Services TSQL (Transactional SQL) As a Data Migration Consultant ROA FTD you will work closely with our clients and provide solutions for the challenges of data migration. The candidate should have experience in building and maintaining databases on Microsoft SQL Server platform as well as working with various database management tools such as SSIS/SSRS/BI Publisher. Strong problem solving skills are needed along with excellent written communication skills which enables them to explain complex issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders across business
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Data Mapping and Migration of the Manufacturing Data in the areas of Bill of Materials and Routings
- Experience of Bill Materials Routings Resources Workers and Product Master in D365 F&O
- Understanding SSIS packages as well as the D365 DMF (Data Migration Framework) with Batch handling
- Manage facilitate and drive the extraction criteria data cleansing object mapping field mapping and value mapping for the ETL process
- Manage facilitate and drive the filling in of the templates by the Business for the Construct process
- Facilitate Issue resolution where there are load errors (Defects logged in DevOps)
- Status reporting per functional area as and when needed
- Engage with business resources per stream to resolve data queries
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 5 years working experience with large enterprise applications or systems in a data center environment preferred
- 8 years experience in a data migration and optimization skills
- Must have experience working with large datasets to analyze them for accuracy and consistency
- 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Data Management and/or IT Systems Management
