We specialize in supporting mining clients across Africa and beyond through all phases of their projects from engineering and construction to operations. STELO is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Projects Execution Manager to lead the STELO Projects division as we expand our services to include full project lifecycle support as an owners team representative.
You will be at the forefront of driving project execution for our clients providing strategic leadership and handson direction across engineering construction commissioning and transition to operations. The role is hybrid with expected international travel and combines technical leadership with business development responsibilities.
Lead and manage the STELO Projects Division overseeing a portfolio of projects across multiple geographies.
Act as the senior representative for STELO on client projects during the engineering construction and commissioning phases.
Build manage and mentor multidisciplinary project teams to ensure highquality delivery.
Interface with client senior management engineering firms contractors and internal stakeholders.
Oversee project governance risk management cost control and reporting in alignment with client objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including proposal development and client relationship management.
Contribute to strategic planning and capability building of STELOs project services.
Ensure HSE quality and performance standards are upheld across all project activities.
Minimum 10 years of project execution experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector with proven delivery in Africa.
Experience in managing full project lifecycle from design and procurement to construction and operations.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Highly mobile and available to travel frequently to project sites.
Excellent communication skills in English; French or Portuguese is a plus.
Strong business acumen and experience in clientfacing roles.
Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification; PMP or similar certification is an asset.
