Job Description

Our Client in the Finance Industry is seeking to employ a Paraplanner to their team based in Eastern Cape Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or accepted NQF4 qualification.
  • A qualification accepted by the FSCA.
  • A minimum of 35 years of experience in a similar role.
  • RE5 Regulatory Examination for Representatives.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (non-negotiable due to client base).
  • Class of Business certificates.
  • Strong computer literacy including MS Word Excel Outlook and Internet use.
  • Sound understanding of the basic principles of life insurance and investment products.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Financial Advisors.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial needs analyses and client documentation.
  • Compile and manage investment estate and risk benefit plans.
  • Ensure all client documentation is up to date and compliant with FAIS and FICA legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding client requirements.
  • Liaise professionally with clients to ensure high levels of service.
  • Follow the six-step financial planning process.
