Job Description
In this role youll work on high-impact structural projects focusing on steel structures and custom fabrication. Youll collaborate with a hands-on experienced team committed to delivering robust high-quality steel solutions for commercial industrial and bespoke builds.
Designing tasks related to mining and other structures.
Managing document flow within a professional team
Working with engineers on the steel structures
Review and interpret structural and fabrication design for steel structures and building projects
Identify discrepancies errors or clashes within drawings and coordinate with the design team for resolutions
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
Provide technical support to project managers fabricators and site teams
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience on Tekla Structures (Non-negotiable) Prokon and AutoCad
Proven ability to read and interpret complex structural and fabrication drawings.
Solid understanding of steel structures connection details and load paths.
Familiarity with relevant codes (e.g. SANS Eurocode or AISC).
Qualification:
