Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Contract Role

About the Team
You ll join a high-performing international feature team building scalable cloud-based solutions for quality assurance using modern technologies like Microsoft Azure Kubernetes and machine learning. This role is instrumental in shaping Industry 4.0 capabilities within a global production landscape.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with development teams to enhance the reliability and scalability of mission-critical systems.
Drive "Design for Run" activities from architecture to deployment and operations.
Build and support infrastructure for AI/ML-based applications primarily on Azure Cloud.
Design implement and optimize monitoring and alerting solutions.
Advocate for automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Contribute to the Agile working environment and DevOps culture.
Must-Have Technical Skills
Infrastructure management (Cloud & On-prem)
Kubernetes Terraform Docker and microservices architecture
Monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana Prometheus Elasticsearch)
Infrastructure-as-code experience
Strong understanding of cloud platforms especially Microsoft Azure
Nice-to-Have Skills
CI/CD and GitOps tools (e.g. ArgoCD)
Unix/Linux system internals & networking
Performance tuning incident/defect/change management
Background in software development (C# preferred)
Familiarity with Agile DevOps Jira Confluence
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience in software development (C# or similar Microsoft technologies)
Strong experience in manual or automated testing
Prior experience in Agile environments highly desirable
