Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are building a cutting-edge data-driven platform to enable insight generation across teams business units and value streams. As part of our digital transformation were integrating an AWS-based OCR/IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) solution and seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to join our team.
This is a strategic and technical leadership role where you will evaluate lead and implement advanced document understanding technologies becoming a key contributor to our broader AI and data strategy.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
Strong AWS Cloud Experience including:
EC2 ECS Lambda Step Functions IAM
5 10 years as a Senior/Lead Software Developer
Hands-on OCR & IDP Project Experience
Proven track record in:
Peer code reviews
Technical mentorship or team leadership
Experience integrating OCR/IDP tooling into enterprise systems
Highly Desirable / Bonus Skills
AWS Textract AWS Comprehend AWS A2I
Exposure to LLM-based QA or AI vision models for OCR and document understanding
Experience with HuggingFace or other open-source vision/NLP libraries
Knowledge of technical evaluation techniques for OCR/IDP tooling
You Will:
Lead vendor evaluation for OCR/IDP systems
Integrate selected solutions into our AWS-based architecture
Extend and optimize IDP systems as part of our enterprise AI roadmap
Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business and data goals
Work in a team responsible for interpreting and visualizing data to inform strategic decisions
