Are you a skilled Product Controller ready to lead in a dynamic markets trading environment
We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious financial institution seeking a Senior Product Controller to add value and drive effective financial analysis reporting and controls within their Markets business. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions through expert valuation of derivatives and market instruments rigorous P&L validation and robust trade lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in valuation of derivatives and bonds complex data analysis and have a proven track record in managing teams within Markets Product Control or related areas. A professional qualification such as CFA or FRM combined with 5 to 8 years in relevant markets roles and at least 3 years of leadership experience is essential.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
- Valuation and independent verification of derivatives and market instruments
- Daily P&L validation attribution and reporting
- Managing trade lifecycle and market data setup for complex trades
- Conducting root cause analysis and providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with governance risk and regulatory requirements
- Leading and coaching teams to maintain high standards of analysis and reporting
- Building strong partnerships with trading desks and support functions to protect the trading environment
