What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)
Youll be conducting advanced protection coordination and arc flash studies while also delivering broader power system studies such as grid code compliance and grid impact assessments. Youll mentor and support junior engineers manage projects across budgets and resources and help grow the client base through strong relationships. Your work will support projects across South Africa and the broader African continent working with teams locally and in the UK.

What youll need
Youll need a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering along with experience in protection settings arc flash studies and tools like DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Familiarity with the South African Grid Code is essential. A postgraduate degree and ECSA registration are highly desirable as is experience with EMT studies CDEGS/XGSLab or on-site protection testing.
