Job Description
Our client is looking to appoint an expert Peer Reviewer to support the quality assurance process of a major evaluation study. The study focuses on assessing national performance over the past 30 years under a democratic dispensation. The successful candidate will be engaged on a six-month contract to ensure the evaluation meets appropriate methodological standards and provides credible evidence-based insights.
Responsibilities:
Review and provide written input on the inception report.
Review and provide written input on the literature review report structure evaluation matrix analytical framework data collection instruments and other tools.
Review and provide written input on the Primary Data Collection Report and Case Studies.
Review and provide written input on the draft evaluation report and 1/5/25 summaries.
Attend the validation workshop (hybrid format).
Review and provide written input on the final evaluation report and 1/5/25 summaries.
Requirements
A Master s degree (or higher) in Social Science Public Policy Management or Development Studies.
Proven experience in at least five evaluation or review projects related to policy implementation job creation and service delivery.
Strong report-writing skills and experience in evaluation methodology.
The consultancy should have a minimum of two years experience in project reviews.
A detailed project plan must be submitted demonstrating the approach to each activity in line with the scope of work.
