Job Description
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
Live In Own bedroom shared bathroom. Meals included
Area: The Hills PTA East
Childrens Ages: 16 year old 10 year old 7 year old and 5 year old Boys
Working hours: Monday Friday 13:00 18:00

Duties: The daily schedule includes assisting with the morning routine from 06:30 to 08:00 which involves helping the children get ready for school preparing breakfast packing lunchboxes and doing the school drop-off. From 13:00 to 14:00 duties include school pick-up and supervising lunch followed by homework supervision extra lessons or tutoring transport to activities and supervising play from 14:00 to 17:00. Between 17:00 and 17:45 responsibilities include bathing younger children helping with pyjamas and preparing for the evening routine with an end-of-day tidy-up in childrens areas and preparation for the next day from 17:30 to 18:00. Additional but occasional responsibilities may include taking the children for haircuts accompanying them to medical or dental appointments transporting them to and from extracurricular activities and supervising them during outings or special events.
Special Requirements: Someone with teaching experience or studying towards their teaching degree would be advantageous. Between the age 35 45 years old.
Start Date and contract term: ASAP permanent
Salary: R15 000pm - dependent on experience and qualifications (Gross before deductions) SARS rates per km (R4.76)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
