My client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll for approximately 500 employees across 13 companies.
This role is based in Westlake Western Cape southern suburbs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly payroll processes for fixed commission and hourly-paid employees.
Reconcile payroll data prepare variance reports and ensure accurate costings.
Develop and maintain robust payroll controls policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and process statutory payments (PAYE UIF etc.).
Liaise with SAGE Consultants for system-related queries.
Collaborate with the Financial Director on payments and reconciliations.
Handle payroll queries and liaise with medical aid and group life service providers.
Support audits by providing payroll information and resolving queries.
Requirements:
Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 3 years experience with SAGE 300
Experience managing payroll for at least 500 employees
Advanced Excel skills including formulas
