Job Description
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our clients Feature Team: Energy for Mobility focused on shaping sustainable digital solutions in the evolving energy and mobility space.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact production-ready applications deployed in the cloud in a fast-paced Agile environment with global exposure.

Qualifications

Relevant IT Degree

Cloud Certifications
Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with Microservices Architecture Cloud and Container Architecture

At least 5 years experience using back-end technologies such as:

Java
-
JavaScript / TypeScript /

Python
-
Cloud Technologies (Amazon AWS preferred):

Compute: Kubernetes and Serverless
-
API Gateway CloudWatch DynamoDB SQS SNS Kinesis S3
-
Virtual networks including communication with on-premise networks
-
CI/CD (design configuration and operation)
-
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform CloudFormation
-
Automated deployment and configuration of components and systems
-
Monitoring and log analytics
Additional Skills:

Experience with Databases (SQL and NoSQL)

Web Services Design & Deployment

REST
-
GIT
-
Experience with Design / Architecture Patterns

Agile or Scrum project experience

Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

Experience with Linear and Nonlinear Optimization

Experience with Control Theory

Experience with Machine Learning

Experience with the Design and Evaluation of Efficient Algorithms (Complexity Theory)

Experience with Performance Testing and Tuning including Automated Testing

Experience working with IoT devices

Understanding of power and energy consumption

Familiarity with shell scripting and Unix/Linux-based systems

Experience working with Linux on Windows (e.g. WSL or VirtualBox)

Develop and operate production-ready business applications (24/7)

Liaise with customers team members and external vendors

Deploy applications in AWS (via GitHub)

Monitor and operate applications using AWS CloudWatch
-
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements

Identify risks or impediments and proactively resolve or escalate to relevant parties

Ensure compliance with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices
-
Prepare system and technical documentation in line with ISO standards
