Pastry Chef Luxury Wine Estate Franschhoek
Salary: R12000 R14000 (Negotiable DOE) Live Out

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join a prestigious luxury wine estate located in Franschhoek. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their skills in a world-class setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries desserts breads and baked goods

  • Innovate and develop new pastry items in line with the estate s luxury standards

  • Ensure consistency in taste presentation and quality of all products

  • Monitor stock levels and manage ordering of pastry-related supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry section

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements:

  • Formal culinary training with a focus on pastry and baking

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role within a fine-dining or luxury environment

  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques

  • Creative flair with attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Own transport preferred due to live-out nature of the role
