Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day HR operations ensuring smooth administration of HR policies procedures and programs.
Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment processes including posting job adverts screening applications and scheduling interviews.
Prepare employment contracts onboarding documents and orientation schedules for new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Support payroll processing by collecting and submitting relevant employee information.
Assist with leave management disciplinary documentation and performance review coordination.
Respond to internal and external HR-related queries or requests.
Support training and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies and South African labour legislation.
Skills:
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook).
Familiarity with HR systems or databases will be advantageous.
Qualifications:
Matric certificate is required.
A diploma or certificate in Human Resource Management or a related field is preferred.
At least 1 year of HR administration or office support experience is advantageous.
