Job Description

To lead manage and grow Alliance Banking partnerships by retaining and
expanding these relationships. Ensure Alliance Banking partners are serviced
efficiently and that the Alliance Partners themselves remain compliant with the
Banks requirements. The role requires active collaboration and integration of the Banks bank office support function and the Alliance Partners. To ensure that operational costs are managed effectively and drive new income streams through cross selling and solutioning business opportunities.

Defines develops and leads the implementation and execution of a partnership strategy to drive inorganic growth product innovation and diversification to enhance the organisations presence and reputation for specialty insurance products within the market. Builds strong networks and maintains strategic partnerships in the Banking ecosystem.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Corporate Strategy Shaping STRATEGIC OR CORPORATE PLANNING STRATEGY AND POLICY DEVELOPMENT


Participate in the development of corporate strategy for a
small local organization applying functional expertise to test
the viability of the strategy and contributing creative ideas
and insights to support the strategy formation process.



Internal Client Relationship Management GENERAL COMMUNICATION/RELATIONSHIPS


Lead the development of partnering relationships with senior
executives throughout the organization building high levels
of professional credibility and mutual trust and ensuring that
internal clients have access to high-quality advice and
guidance to support in delivering business strategy and
plans.

Leadership and Direction GENERAL LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION


Communicate the functions strategy and its relationship to
the organizations mission vision and values; clarify the
actions needed to implement this strategy within the area of

Take responsibility for implementing the strategy to manage
communication with clients and business partners to
negotiate and establish sales or buying deals building
positive relationships in the process. Be aware of and take

Feasibility Studies INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS


Conduct the most-complex feasibility studies from a
technological and organizational perspective and document
findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing
changes to business processes products or business unit
structure.

Financial Analysis and Evaluation GENERAL ADVICE


Participate in formulating the strategy to manage net present
value (NPV) analysis on candidates (product pipeline).
Perform business case development financial modeling and
accounting and valuation analyses incorporating probability
time cost budget impacts and returns to allow for optimal
strategic and investment decision-making. Support to
prioritize and close key deals of strategic and/or financial
significance for the company.

Financial Modeling FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS


Undertake strategic and tactical financial analysis modeling
and evaluation to support business leaders in their decision making.

Partnership Deal Management (incl. Mergers & Acquisitions) LOGISTICS/SUPPLY CHAIN PURCHASING/PROCUREMENT


Participate in formulating the strategy to prepare and
prioritize the finalization closing and management of deals
such as partnerships collaborations and mergers and
acquisitions. Manage deal structuring term sheet and
contract development terms and deal negotiation and deal
execution. Lead executed deal handover including
postmortem analysis and formal meeting to transition each
deal to business owners sponsors and alliance
management as needed.

Strategic Partnering EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GENERAL


Drive strategic plans for strategic partnering focusing on
innovative partner identification relationship building
techniques and partnership agreement negotiations.

Financial Risk Management FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING RISK MANAGEMENT


Lead the financial risk management strategy within a
function seeking the optimal balance of risk and return.

Industry Awareness and External Network GENERAL INNOVATION


Create and manage internal and external partnerships
connecting different internal stakeholders and departments
to innovators in the ecosystem. Set the strategy for market
research within the innovation space ensuring insights and
opportunities are communicated to the right level.

Financial Reporting FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING CONTROLLING


Manage all organizations financial reporting for one or more
stakeholder groups.

Financial Products Development BRANCH FINANCIAL SERVICES/BANKING GENERAL


Manage a medium-sized financial product development or
