Develop and execute fact-based category strategies on a regional level in close alignment with stakeholders.
Budget costs and price management.
Quality management.
Plan and lead sourcing projects engaging stakeholders and required cross functional resources.
Define supplier base and secure capacity plan and coordinate implementation (timeline resources cost quality).
Comply with Safety Health and Environment standards.
Manage and facilitate change management.
People management & development.
Manage spend; monitor compliance to category strategies/ approved vendor lists.
Manage supplier development/ performance and setup / contribute to supplier relationship programs with key suppliers.
Ensure compliance of the category strategies and sourcing projects with AECI Procurement Guidelines/Policy Directive as well as legal and regulatory requirements and supply strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
Com/ Procurement or Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
Both commercial and technical education and/or work experience
6 - 8 years Procurement Management or Category Management experience
Understanding of Explosives and Chemical Industry will be advantageous
Work experience in multi-national organizations across functions
Supply Market and Supplier Relationship Management expertise
