Job Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable mining company in Gauteng is currently looking for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Take an active role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following all relevant safety regulations company policies and operational guidelines.
- Lead by example to support safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture within the team.
- Plan and carry out regular inspections to monitor safe work practices and overall operational performance addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure effective team management by clearly outlining responsibilities and skill requirements while supporting consistent and efficient team performance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineer or related.
- Blasting Ticket/Rockbreaking Certificate for scheduled mines.
- 5 years experience in underground mechanized mining
- Extensive experienceon Longhole stoping or similar bulk production drilling and charge-up operations.
- Valid Drivers License
