Job Description
SydSen Recruit is currently recruiting for a skilledMechanical Engineerto join a leading food production company based in the Netherlands.
Duties & Responsibilities
Contract Type:Full-time
Industry:Food Production and Manufacturing
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is essential
- 5 to 6 years of proven experience in a food production environment
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a technical or maintenance team
- Strong background in improvement planning optimisation and efficiency initiatives
- Proficient in troubleshooting preventative maintenance and technical problem-solving
- Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands or possess valid work authorisation
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities
- Lead and mentor a small team of technicians
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure uptime and efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the facility
- Contribute to planning and equipment upgrades
