Job Title: Junior GTM Engineer (Go-to-market Engineer)
Employment type: Full time
Location: Foreshore Cape Town
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Working Setup: 40 hours per week Mondays to Fridays 10:00 to 19:00. Hybrid with Mondays and Fridays being mandatory office days.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our growing marketing team in Cape Town South this multifaceted role you will play a key part in our outbound marketing supporting the execution of email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns and managing data scraping lead list building and prospect research to enhance prospecting efforts. You will also provide administrative support to the broader marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Research
Identify potential leads from multiple sources (LinkedIn company websites job boards business directories etc.).
Extract and verify contact details (emails phone numbers LinkedIn profiles etc.).
Research company information (industry size location decision-makers).
Data Management & Enrichment
Organize collected data into spreadsheets and/or CRM tools.
Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy.
Update missing information from online sources.
Lead Qualification
Categorize leads based on industry company size or potential interest.
Identify key decision-makers (CEOs CFOs Hiring managers etc.).
Automation & Tools Handling
Use data scraping tools such as Clay LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo Phantom Buster Instant Data Scraper Prospeo etc.
Maintain and update the database regularly.
Collaboration with Sales Team
Share validated leads with the inside sales team for outreach.
Provide insights into high-potential leads for better targeting.
Marketing Outreach & Automation
Build and test marketing workflows such as nurture campaigns and email sequences.
Assist in data preparation for outreach campaigns.
Ensure data enrichment and scraping are completed accurately.
Set up email automation using DotDigital & Smartlead.
Generate reports to measure campaign success.
Manage these tasks for multiple brands and target audiences simultaneously.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team.
Requirements
Experience in lead generation/data research.
Proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator ZoomInfo Phantom Buster Instant Data Scraper Prospeo and similar.
Strong Excel skills and experience handling large datasets.
Experience in data scraping enrichment and lead list building.
Familiarity with Clay Apollo and other data sources is a plus.
Knowledge of CRM tools like Close.
Experience building workflows or scheduling communications.
Strong analytical and data-handling skills.
Basic understanding of B2B sales and marketing.
Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills.
Proactive self-motivated and a go-getter attitude.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks across various brands.

Team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Proficiency in Python is a plus
Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance processes.
