Job Description
Our client a leader in their field is looking for a fully qualified Commercial Underwriter to join their team.
You will be responsible for the full underwriting function across commercial lines with a specific focus on sectional title and body corporate portfolios. This is a client-facing broker-supportive role that requires a solid technical foundation and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in short-term insurance (RE FAIS compliant)
- Minimum 3 years experience in commercial underwriting
- At least 1 year of experience in Body Corporate/Sectional Title underwriting
- Strong understanding of industry legislation risk assessment and product knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
