Job Description
Purpose Of The Job:
We are urgently seeking a Qualified Master Technician with Ford and Mahindra experience to join our clients dealership based in Pretoria. This is a senior technical position suited for a professional with extensive diagnostic experience and a proven track record within dealership environments. Candidates with Master Technician status in Audi or VW are also encouraged to apply.
- Accurately diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards within expected timeframes
- Perform complex diagnostics and repairs including:
- Emission control systems
- Computerized electrical and ignition systems
- Fuel injection systems
- ABS and cruise control
- Auto transmissions and 4WD internal components
- On-board computer issues and computerized A/C systems
- Mentor and train junior technicians where necessary
- Capably perform duties across all technician levels
- Maintain compliance with all health safety and operational standards
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required to ensure superior service delivery
- Qualified Red Seal Master Mechanic (Essential)
- Master Technician certification with Ford and/or Mahindra preferred
(Master Tech in Audi or VW will also be considered) - Minimum 3 years experience as a Master Technician in a dealership or multi-franchise environment
- High Voltage training or exposure (Advantageous)
- Valid Drivers License (Essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership skills and a proactive customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Automotive experience is Essential!!
