Specialist Applications Developer / Programmer

Anticipated contract length/Duration: August 1st 2025 - November 30th 2025

Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking two experienced Specialist Applications Developers/Programmers to support a short-term project as part of the clients Information Technology system maintenance programme. The successful candidate will form part of an application development and maintenance team responsible for enhancing and maintaining a suite of custom-built mobile applications.

What you will do:

• Develop new application functionality based on design specifications.
• Modify existing system components to align with updated business processes.
• Perform full software development lifecycle (SDLC) tasks including analysis design development testing and implementation.
• Develop and/or enhance system reports based on user requirements.
• Conduct component module and system testing to validate developed functionalities.
• Document and manage system changes and enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve system bugs applying approved change management protocols.
• Provide support to end-users including responding to Helpdesk tickets.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation including training manuals.
• Participate in formal and informal knowledge transfer and user training sessions
