Introduction
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R30000 R45000 CTC (depending on experience)

This opportunity is for recent Data Science Actuarial Mathsgraduates looking to launch their careers in a real-world data-driven business. Youll be trained mentored and given ownership of processes that shape decision-making across the organisation.
Whether youre fresh out of university or have up to 1 year of industry experience this role is designed to support your growth while giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.
Key Responsibilities
1. ETL Development & Data Pipeline Management
Build and maintain ETL jobs using tools like Python SQL and Azure Functions
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines feeding from Odoo vehicle tracking systems and other internal sources
2. Reporting & Data Visualization
Design operational dashboards and management reports (Power BI or Tableau)
Automate scheduled reports and data extracts to meet business needs
3. Data Modeling & Data Quality
Develop and refine data models in our Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Identify and resolve data integrity issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Data Science Actuarial Science Mathematics Computer Science or a similar quantitative field (Essential)
Strong analytical mindset with an interest in understanding business problems through data
Solid foundation in SQL and Python (advantageous if used in a study or internship environment)
Exposure to data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (even academic use is welcomed)
A desire to learn grow and contribute to a collaborative tech-driven team
