Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to join our clients operations team in Boksburg. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take ownership of inventory accuracy stock movement and control processes in a fast-paced distribution environment. If you have a strong background in inventory management and warehouse operations we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Oversee all inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock takes to verify inventory integrity
- Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate inbound and outbound stock movement with the warehouse team
- Maintain and update inventory management systems and documentation
- Work closely with procurement and planning teams to manage stock levels
- Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure adherence to SOPs
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in the warehouse
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Diploma or certification in Logistics Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in inventory control within a warehouse environment
- Proficient in using inventory management systems (WMS ERP etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse
