Job Description
Job Title: Customer Support Representative (Remote)
Monthly Compensation: $1000 $1200 USD
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week) ideally spread across 6 days/week (approx. 3 4 hrs/day)
About the Role:
Were looking for a reliable and friendly Customer Support Representative to be the voice of the Baking Steel brand. You ll respond to customer inquiries with empathy and clarity solve problems efficiently and turn every interaction into a positive experience. You ll also support operations by tracking orders managing refunds and collaborating closely with our shipping partners.
What You ll Do:
- Respond to 30 customer tickets daily via Gorgias
- Provide timely updates on orders shipping and refunds
- Troubleshoot product or delivery issues with accuracy
- Monitor distribution and fulfillment status using backend tools
- Represent the Baking Steel brand with warmth and professionalism
- Identify opportunities to convert support conversations into sales
Tools We Use:
- Gorgias (Shopify-integrated CRM for customer support)
- Shopify (Order and product management)
- BB Solutions (Shipping and distribution tracking)
Who You Are:
- A great communicator with fluent written English
- Comfortable with tech tools and online platforms
- Patient organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work flexible hours (ideally 6 days/week in shorter shifts)
- Previous e-commerce or customer support experience is a plus
