Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow assigned retail accounts with minimal supervision.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners ensuring alignment on product offering and business goals.
Identify and explore new revenue opportunities within the apparel retail sector.
Understand and act upon fashion seasonality consumer trends and retailer-specific product requirements.
Liaise effectively between internal design production and sales teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Manage costing pricing strategies and margin expectations across different customer profiles.
Ensure consistent communication with internal stakeholders suppliers and external buyers.
Problem-solve quickly and effectively in response to unexpected issues or urgent changes.
Balance multiple projects and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
Requirements:
Proven experience working with majorretail chain storesin South Africa.
Strongrelationship-building skillsand ability to manage key client portfolios.
Solid understanding of thefashion industry includingseasonalitydesignfabric types andconsumer behaviour.
In-depth knowledge ofproduction lead times sourcing and the end-to-end merchandising process.
Ability to remain composed and productive undertight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a focus on product accuracy quality and alignment with retailer expectations.
