Job Description
- Supervise the sample set production line and ensure adherence to production schedules and daily output targets
- Lead and motivate a team of machinists and pattern makers providing training and support as needed
- Monitor product quality throughout production swiftly addressing any issues to maintain high standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve production problems in collaboration with technical support and management
- Work closely with departments such as Merchandising Patternmaking and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth operations
- Evaluate employee performance offer constructive feedback and implement improvement plans
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and foster an efficient safe working environment
- Maintain accurate production records including daily outputs and team performance metrics
- Minimum of 3 years experiencein a sewing or textile environment
- Strong understanding of garment constructionand ability to assist machinists when needed
- Skilled in basic Excel(capturing data not formulas)
- Excellent planning and time management abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to act quickly and effectively
- Availability to work Saturdays until 1:00 PMis essential
