About the Role:
An established and dynamic audit and accounting firm in Plattekloof is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Audit Trainee to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Chartered Accountants (SA) to complete their articles in a supportive and professional environment gaining broad exposure to clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with audit planning and execution
Perform audit fieldwork and testing procedures
Prepare working papers and financial statements
Ensure compliance with IFRS ISA and relevant legislation
Attend client meetings and interact with stakeholders under supervision
Work closely with audit seniors and managers on engagements
Participate in internal training and development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
BCom Accounting degree or equivalent (SAICA-accredited)
Completed or currently enrolled in a CTA or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and analytical mindset
Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Drivers license and own reliable transport (advantageous)
