Job Description
We are assistinga leading company in the manufacturing and imports sector in seeking a Maintenance Manager. This role is perfect for a proactive and technically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about ensuring operational efficiency through effective maintenance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the maintenance department
Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimise downtime
Coordinate repairs and maintenance of production equipment machinery and facilities
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and artisans
Maintain records of maintenance schedules incidents and repair histories
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals
Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of parts and services
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in a maintenance Leadership preferably within a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage maintenance schedules effectively
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Hands-on solutions-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Trade Tested and relevant tertiary education advantageous
