What you will be doing:
- Lead monthly financial reporting board reports and variance analysis
- Oversee month-end close processes including journal reviews and intercompany transactions
- Manage cash flow reporting short- and long-term forecasting
- Ensure compliance with tax legislation and file statutory returns
- Prepare group financial statements and liaise with external auditors
- Guide policy updates and ensure correct application of accounting standards
- Manage audit processes and internal controls
- Support treasury functions funding compliance and SARS engagements
- Coach junior team members and assist with financial statement preparation
What we are looking for:
- CA(SA) with completed articles leadership potential or experience
- 2 years experience in a financial accounting role
- Manufacturing industry experience or exposure to high fixed asset/project environments
- Proficient in SAP Excel PowerPoint and financial reporting
