Job Description
A leading sports apparel manufacturing company in Randburg Gauteng is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily production activities manage a team of seamstresses and ensure efficient operation of production line machines. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on detail-oriented leader to drive productivity and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production floor activities to meet targets and deadlines.
- Manage and motivate a team of seamstresses ensuring high-quality garment output.
- Oversee the setup operation and maintenance of production line machines.
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Implement and maintain health safety and compliance standards.
- Report production metrics and suggest process improvements to management.
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Floor Manager or Production Supervisor in apparel manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a production team.
- Knowledge of garment production processes and machine operations.
- Excellent problem-solving organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
