Job Description
A growing quality-driven manufacturing company in the food production space is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented General Managerto join their team in Ottery Cape Town. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fast-paced production environments especially food or pharmaceutical sectors and excellent Excel and planning skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee production stock-on-hand tracking and packaging controls
Track shipments and production progress using Excel and ERP (Excite)
Coordinate internal operations and assist in daily production scheduling
Analyse trends to improve planning and productivity
Maintain compliance across production planning functions
Assist with Woolworths planning requirements where applicable
Minimum Requirements
3 years experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing
Excellent Excel skills and experience using ERP systems (Excite/Pastel advantageous)
Familiarity with short and long shelf-life product planning
Hands-on proactive and highly detail-oriented
Ready to take the lead at one of SAs top manufacturing facilities
