Job Description
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily activities on-site to ensure timely achievement of project objectives.
- Lead teams on-site including subcontractors and service providers by clearly defining responsibilities and expectations.
- Maintain high standards of safety quality and regulatory compliance in all site operations.
- Perform routine inspections and identify potential risks to proactively address issues.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior personnel and relevant parties.
- Ensure optimal use and availability of materials tools and equipment.
- Coordinate site logistics and address challenges that may impact timelines or efficiency.
- Uphold and enforce all operational procedures and workplace protocols.
- Keep comprehensive and accurate records of on-site activities.
- Ensure all operations adhere to applicable health safety and environmental standards.
- Facilitate and participate in on-site meetings with project teams contractors and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical / Industrial / Civil / Mining Engineering
- 2-3 years Supervisory experience in Mining environment
- Legal Liability
- HIRA
- Competent A
