Main purpose of job
A critical leadership role at Senior Manager level with an expectation to support and drive service / business area strategic plans management of complex project engagements within the International Affairs Development (IAD) support environment. The role will focus on capability development and strengthening client account development and business development through the effective management of self and project teams. The role will also contribute towards execution of the business strategy by taking personal accountability for keeping short-term financial and operational performance on track while in parallel contributing towards building the future business. The Senior Manager will also be a custodian of our purpose and values often leading our client engagements and business development efforts.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum required:
Qualifications in any of the following would be a distinct advantage:
Whilst not a strict requirement an MBA in the relevant field of study is a definite advantage.
Minimum 10 years experience working with international aid and donor organisations. At least 5 years should be in a leadership focused role within the international development environment. Experience gained within a consulting firm in a client facing role with at least 3 years in a management role is strongly preferred.
